Community Boating, Inc. Launch Tender
Ginger Leib -- Tuesday, 15 July 2014, at 3:31 p.m.
Working at Community Boating Inc. (CBI) is one of the most unique and fun opportunities in Junior Sailing – it’s not a camp, and certainly not your typical yacht club. CBI serves over 1,500 children each summer from throughout the Greater Boston Area, especially children that might not otherwise have the opportunity to sail.
The Junior Program Safety Launch Operator’s main duty is to monitor the water and respond to safety situations including capsizes, run agrounds, or other on-the-water emergencies. Additionally, the Safety Launch Operator will provide ferry service to CBI’s moored keelboats. The Safety Launch Operator will also assist where needed to ensure that the Junior Program runs smoothly, this includes assisting Juniors in casting off and landing, signing boats in and out in CBI’s database, and other duties. The ideal candidate has excellent powerboat skills, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and is a team player.
The 2014 season will run Mondays – Fridays through August 22. Hours are 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM. US Coast Guard launch tender’s license required. Competitive Pay.

I'm looking for someone to captain a boat for my fishing excursions company in Ketchikan Alaska. Taking 1/2 and full day charters for up to six people to fish mostly for salmon. I'm willing to pay the right captain well (negotiable based on experience and possible bonus). Maybe its not what you're looking for, but maybe you know someone who may be interested in the position? Or maybe you know where I might look to find a captain that would be interested?
