The Dictator was one of the original lobster smacks that fished the coast of Maine. Named the Tupelo Honey, I book her out for private charters in Boston Harbor. I am activity seeking additional crew members to work with me during these charters. This is a great opportunity for you to get hands-on experience on a classic sailing vessel modeled after those from the late 1800's. I am a USCG Licensed Master and I am certified to captain a motor, towing, or sailing vessel of up to 100 tons. I am happy to teach you and you will be paid for each charter worked.

Our signature program is sailing. Our program runs nine weeks, starting June 22th and ends on August 22th. Our spectacular facility is located on a tidal cove in Kennebunk Beach, Maine. Sailing and waterfront classes are taught in the cove and more advanced classes are taught on the ocean. KBIA’s fleet is comprised of Optimists, Lasers, and 420s.
